Inner Anarchy is the mirror only you see. It lives on your Dashboard, and where your Card shows the world what you have done, this shows you who your character is becoming. Not a scoreboard. A living reflection, rendered in color and in words.
Your Soul Signature
At the center is a single living form, glowing with the color of your character’s nature and named for who they have become. It is one form, one name, and one line of the world’s own words. The Narrator reads you along two lines: your conduct, the difference between the character who acts on others and the one things are done to, and your ties, how bound you are to something larger than yourself versus how much you walk alone.
The archetypes
- The Ravager (Blood Orange). Unchecked destruction, the predator who feeds on infamy.
- The Tyrant (Imperial Gold). Aggression turned into control, the iron fist.
- The Ghost (Spectral Cyan). The one who survives by vanishing.
- The Martyr (Saintly White). The one who endures so others do not have to.
- The Drifter. Not yet any of the above. The Narrator is still reading you.
None of these is permanent. Change how you play, and over time the mirror changes.
The Daily Echo
Once a day, the Narrator speaks a single line of your character’s interior thought, drawn from the tone of your recent writing. Think of it as your character thinking out loud in a voice the world learned from you. A small daily prompt to drop you into their headspace before you write.
Corruption and the glitch
The deeper your character wades into the dark, the heavier their Corruption grows, and when that weight becomes more than a mind can carry, the mirror itself begins to break. In the city it fractures as Neon Void, urban decay, a mind coming apart under concrete. In the Backwaters it comes as Swamp Rot, the old influence of the bayou taking root.
The mirror never flatters and never lies. It is the one place that will always tell you the truth about who your character is becoming.
