Built into your Story HUD is a conversation you can have with the world itself. Open it, ask a question, and the Narrator answers, in the voice of the world you are standing in, drawing on twenty years of lore, history, policy, and the stories of every character who has ever walked these streets.
What you can ask
Anything. The rules of the world, the history of a place, what happened last week, what your options are, who runs what, where to go, how something works. The Narrator has read every page of this guide and everything underneath it, and it speaks your language, whatever that language is. If you are lost, ask. If you are curious, ask. If you are mid-scene and need to know whether your character can legally carry a weapon in this district, ask that too.
How it sounds
The Narrator and Your Writing does not answer like a search engine. It answers like the world: in Hathian it sounds like the city, in the Backwaters it sounds like the swamp, on campus it sounds like the campus. The answer is always in character, always aware of where you are, and always willing to go deeper if you keep asking. It is a conversation, not a lookup.
You will find it on your Story HUD. Open it when you need it. The world has been paying attention longer than you have, and it does not mind being asked.
