Known as “the Den’s largest gang,” the Hathian Police Department (HPD) is the true embodiment of the word corrupt. On one side of the coin, there is the few born with an incorruptible sense of honor and duty that gets just enough policing done to make it too much work for any sort of federal investigation. On the other more prevalent side is the dark-souled brothers and sisters of the badge who through controlled chaos and ruthless tactics keep the rival gangs at bay, preventing the city from falling into complete hell… all while keeping their pockets lined. The HPD Officer Handbook is written in an OOC format, but contains vital in-character information needed for daily role-plays. Christopher James Findley was born to parents Sarah Powell and Andrew Findley. His parents were young when he was born, only 20 and 21 years old. They married just before he was born and they divorced about a year later. Andrew left the home and was hardly ever seen again. Over the years Sarah would’ve attempted to get child support from him but was hardly ever successful.   As an infant, C.J. was happy and grew and followed the normal pace that infants do. Never really falling behind his peers. It wasn’t until he was a child that he started realizing his family situation was not the same as other children in school. During childhood, C.J. was tempestuous. Due to their lower socio economic status he was made fun of at school and constantly bullied. His Aunt, an art teacher began to teach him how to paint and draw and they found he had real talent. They would attempt to use this to curb his anger and while it worked for the most part he would still get in constant fights with the other boys in school.   The problem escalated to the point that when C.J. was nine years old, he was temporarily removed from school and his Aunt and Mother had to home school him. Getting music and entertainment out on the air takes a lot of hard work, whether it’s coming from a technological, commercial, or creative perspective. There are many roles available to pursue at WKRK. STATION MANAGER – Market the services and products of a radio station, increasing brand awareness. Oversees employees and the day to day running of the radio station, setting the station objectives and motivating staff. Also helps create and schedule radio advertising and station promotions for the station, aiming to maximize revenue. Currently: Perina McGinnis (General Manager) RADIO DJ – The voice of a radio station or program that creates the tone and style of radio output. These people are also the on-air personality, the announcers and hosts of programs. They tend to be talkative and highly energetic in order to keep the audience engaged. RADIO PRODUCER (NPC) – This person creates content and manages the whole radio production process for both live and recorded programs. Responsible for digging up, evaluating, and assigning news stories and creating content for the announcers and reporting staff to cover on air. Also responsible for supplying news content, and set and drive the news and entertainment agenda. MAINTENANCE ENGINEER (NPC) – Responsible for maintenance, installation, and trouble-shooting of control consoles, computers, sound and recording equipment. Hey all, An Addictions/Substance Abuse Support Group is going to be held every Monday at 2pm [SLT] in the basement of Hathian General Hospital, co-led by HGH staff such as Dr Rachell Phoenix-VonD [Rachell Gibbs] and my own character, FDH Captain Dimitri ‘Trey’ Rousseau [Joubert015 Resident] and is open for all HGH and FDH   staff to get involved in as counselors, etc  since they are knowledgeable about drugs and can provide information to group attendees. The group has been set up—-on the surface—to provide the citizen’s of Hathian with ‘help’ with their addictions and substance abuse issues. In actuality, there is definitely something going to be something more sinister going  on covertly with and for the group. I don’t want to ruin any element of surprise so will let people work it out on their own. I just wanted to put this up in order to advertise the group so it will gather RP interest and to let people know it will be running soon— watch out for the posters. [And a big TY to FDH Sofia Boots/  Erika Eichel who was behind the Rock The Block Party posters  around town.]
