Residents unlock special, tiered boosts that significantly speed up the rate at which you earn Chapters. The more you support the community, the greater the rewards.

The Tiers of Residency

The system recognizes three tiers of residency, each unlocking a more potent boost to your progression. These tiers are a direct reflection of your character’s investment and influence in the world.

Tier 1: Resident Simply renting an official apartment or vehicle permit from our vendors makes you a Resident. This immediately activates the foundational residency boost, giving your Presence Boost a steady and reliable advantage.
Tier 2: Landlord For those who invest more heavily by acquiring a larger plot of land or paying significant rent on a premium property, you achieve the status of Landlord. This unlocks an even more powerful boost, reflecting your growing stake in the community’s stability and prosperity.
Tier 3: Patron At the highest level of support, you are recognized as a Patron of the world. This prestigious status is for those who are major landholders or tenants, and it grants the maximum residency boost available.

Practical Perks of a Home Address

Beyond the powerful progression boosts, becoming a resident unlocks several key quality-of-life features:

Instant Teleport Home: Every resident gains the ability to instantly teleport to their home address directly from their Story HUD. Whether you’re making a quick escape from a dangerous situation or just heading in for the night, home is always just a click away.
A Home for the Narrator: Setting a home address also registers your primary location with the Narrator AI. This can influence certain Encounters and story elements, further weaving your character into the fabric of their chosen neighborhood and creating more personalized content for you.
