The heatwave has brought a lot of madness, but it's just beginning! You start to feel a drop of rain on your face - you're in heaven! Tonight 6/27 at 11PM. You start to see lightening in the far distance - but it has yet to hit. The radio is starting to talk about severe weather conditions heading your way - but you can tell that the rain is starting slowly build as the night continues on!
By tomorrow morning into the afternoon 6/28: It's so refreshing, but soon the drops begin to fall even heavier now. The wind is starting to pick-up! The thunder and lightening is starting to go mad, with several strikes hitting around town. If you hear of one - let your local authorities know!
Tomorrow evening 6/28: Lighting has just struck the substation - transformers were damaged! You check your local and surrounding stores for generators, but you realize everywhere is out. With Hathian being such a small town electricians are sparse and have to be outsourced from out of town - just like our water management! They won't be able to get to town for at least a day and unsure when.
CCTV will be down - 911 is available, but lightening has struck the nearest cell tower! If you need your local HPD, then you businesses still have landlines - we hope! HPD/HGH/HFD will have services available! For now there is no town evacuation - stay strong throughout this struggle! Everyone stick together if you can!
The ran does not seem to be letting up come 6/29 --- stay turned for the rest of your weekly report.
