BACKSTORY: Background: Witch Way Alley is one of the most popular businesses on the campus. Perhaps this is because it sells supplies to rumored witches on the campus, or perhaps it's because the staff have a reputation as the center of hot gothicness on the campus? Either way, the store provides a range of services to the campus including various occult supplies, various claimed 'spells' and 'potions' and other services such as tarot readings. The YouTube famous paranormal investigators, Rachel Wesson and Sam Smith both work in the shop and services around spiritual matters are offered.

Witch Way has recently fallen on hard times. The previous owner, Delina Lubezki has been fighting Government red-tape since her previous arrest and through a corrupt local official, the business was bankrupted (a certain Lubezki sister fighting with Rachel might have sealed the fate of the store as well!). Now, with this key campus business shuttered up, Rachel, with her inheritance and her love of the occult (and perhaps rumours of her own involvement in darker arts) has stepped up and put up the cash to take on the store again. With her partner Sam already working there and Arnica and Daiyu Lubezki to be managed, she will have her work cut out, but will do her best to make sure that the premier (and only) place for 'magical' supplies on campus continues to operate. Come and visit today! Unique: Witch Way ('WW') is by hours the most popular business on campus and has had some great scenes recently both with employees and with random members of the public. Tentative links to the CU Clinic have yielded RP and there are links to various of the societies / groups on campus, either through individuals being part of these groups, or though the RP related to the store itself.

As the only source of both fake and 'real' magical supplies on campus, it is there to both sell to the student who wants a mood gem, as well as the more serious student of the occult arts. The store provides a good introduction for new roleplayers (or those wanting a change) to get into various occult matters, which might just be a trick with drugs or chemicals, hypnosis or other explainable things, or might instead be 'real' magic. It's all in the eye of the beholder (and in compliance with CU rules). Experience: As lead, I have experience in... being an admin at another sim for 7 years and promoted RP there, I have also run various shops in several different role playing sims, mainly occult shops, night clubs and a diner. IDEAS: Various ideas to get further RP, including more links with certain groups or businesses (e.g. clinic), potential WW sponsored classes at the CU in occult matters taught by store staff and then various plots related to supply of supplies to the groups on campus who consume them. The basement of the store is also... potentially a good place for a little darker RP; blood... possession, etc. We'll help facilitate RP (within reasons and limits) so that those on campus who need a bit of dark 'magic' can get theirs. As a (re)launch event we will look to do something Christmas related - probably an event in combination with Aurora or the Hathian Museum & Galleries. Other: OOCLY, the previous lead (Delina Lubezki) has left CD for a break for a bit and in order to keep the RP going and develop WW further, I am stepping in with the full agreement of Arnica, Daiyu and Sam (the other employees). I believe I can keep all the stories going and further the sim RP.
