BACKGROUND: Not your daddy's Fire Department! While we'd be offering the same basic services as any fire department (firefighting and ambulance) I'd like the corruption of Laveau to have sunk into every pore of the organization. While we might put out fires for the towns safety, we're just as likely to take a bribe to start one or maybe take our time showing up so there's no evidence left of a crime. Safety and fire inspections would be just another way of saying shake-down. Need some product or people smuggled? There's no safer place than inside an ambulance. Is your prized whore overdosing in front of you? we have can deal with that if you're willing to pay the price.

UNIQUE: Just the nature of fire/rescue services makes this quite a different business from any of the others. If anything the extra layer of corruption and criminality will make more similar to the rest of Laveau even as it differentiates it from Hathian.

EXPERIENCE:I've been around SL RP communities for a long time. I've led various different groups in the past. I've played in both the FDH and HPD so I'm pretty familiar with how municipal RP in CD works as well as the various equipment needed to function.

IDEAS:I really like the idea of training exercises as these give people an opportunity for recruitment via people seeing what we do on sim and also for providing engagement particularly to new members of the department who will be trying to get up to speed. These also make great fodder for introducing our corrupt/criminal element since it's a little outside how firefighters are usually depicted.

OTHER:I think a public recruitment drive might suit the theme of the FD, open doors at the firehall and equipment out on display.
