Lana was born on December 12th 1982 in the great city and state of New York. Her father Roger Higgins was an up and coming rookie at the NYPD and her mother was a homemaker. Lana grew up with the tuff street smart attitude that her father had taught her...all through grade school she was the number one tom boy. She played baseball and soccer and even did compedative swimming and diving. As she grew she became more and more close to her father spending every moment of her day with him that she could. Her mother however did not feel the same about her husband.

The very day of Lana's 11th birthday her mother filed for divorce and a few short weeks after Lana and her mother were living in Detroit Michigan. Lana's father cried his best to come and see her at least 5 times a year but as time went on the amount of visits grew less and less. Lana committed herself to doing well in school wanting to be the best at whatever she became so she could move back to New York....

In the summer of 1999 Lana received a letter from the Police Chief for the NYPD informing Lana of her fathers tragic death. He was stopping a vehical for a routine traffic infraction when the man pulled out a gun and shot her father between the eyes point blank. The man was described later by police as a black male in his early teens with a scar down the left side of his face. Lana was devastated and blamed her mother for the loss of her father. She rebelled and caught a lot of different charges dealing with underage drinking.

After Lana turned 18 she moved out of her mothers house and into her own place doing odd jobs to make ends meet. Finnaly she scored a job at the DPD (Detroit Police Department). She learned quick and soon climbed the ranks into the Narcotics unit after only 4 years. She was a top rank Officer winning award after award. However underneath the surface..the loss of her father still followed her. She began to drink heavy again getting pulled over for DUI's only to have them covered up by her comrades as it were. It all came to a head catching up to her on February 14th 2009 she was on a drug bust with her team. The normal drug bust stuff....Old worn down house with crack dealers in it. She waited by as one by one the officers stormed into the house but as they did she spotted a black male jump down from the roof to the ground. She raced over gun drawn to take down the suspect.

She did everything right...all of it by the books. She disarmed him and cuffed him and let him sit there on the ground....She radioed in for assistance when the man spoke up "Ya know..i use ta know a Higgins......infact...I shot his punk ass...." Something snapped in Lana as she stood up straight and spun around to look the man dead in the eye. Her features soft and twisted into a look of shock. Her lips trembled as she spoke "Wha..." was all that left her lips
"Old man fo' a cop too....musta been close to fiddy"

Lana pulled her gun from its holster as he said the last of his words face frozen into that same look of shock. She had no hesitations....She aimed the barrel straight between the mans eyes and pulled the trigger. Everything was silent around her and seemed to move in slow motion to her. The bulete burrowed its way through the mans head blowing out the back of it as it did. Blood splattered all over the wall bouncing back and covering her in little dots of red. She held the gun out in front of her the smoke from the barrel curling up into the air as her team mates rushed outside to where she was standing....It was only until one of them spoke that she dropped the gun to the ground arm hanging down by her side. She turned slowly to face them only saying very softly "He had it coming...." flatly

The chief had no idea how to handle it. The Media was asking questions and everywhere Lana turned there was another finger pointed in her face. Her drinking got more intense and her behavior in uniform became more and more volger. Finnaly the chief had had enough. He discharged her quietly stating medical reasons so that she could get another job somewhere else. Thats when she packed up and picked the first place that no one in their right mind would ever look for her in....Hathian.....
