Date and Time: Saturday, July 1st | Time TBD (Considering around noon so all time zones can participate)

Event Idea:

Tabitha and others will be passing out ads for a Cupid's event in early May. The ads will have both QR codes and website URL's that will lead to a digital ad. This digital ad will secretly be infected with a ransomware virus. Anyone who scans the code or clicks the link regardless if they attend the May event will have this virus in their technology (if OOCly permitted).

On July 1st, those who have the ransomware virus will see their screens seized by an ominous video to play along in a Scavenger Hunt. Only those who play will have hopes of getting their technology back without total software destruction. If enough people play, they will be put into groups depending on who their affiliates are (Gang members, relationships, families, good friends I'll try to keep together). The video will have its first riddle clue to send them on the scavenger hunt to different parts of the city, though will keep to the same sim for simplicity (Hathian, Batterie, District 8, etc. etc.).

There will be prizes (some dark and morbid, others a good win) and the next riddle at each stop (To keep time saving, I'll probably do 3 tops). At the final stop, there will be a fun surprise mini-event that will be revealed at the time. I don't intend on anyone dying unless someone volunteers.

Except for the ransomware, the riddles, and the final mini-events for the groups, this is entirely unscripted and all is encouraged to play true to their character. While the ransomware virus will be eradicated by the end of the event and highly unlikely to trace back to the Cupid's flier, Tabitha will make a clear statement at the end as to who is responsible to allow for fun IC consequences afterwards.

If people show a lot of interest, I'll set up a sheet to plan on what groups to make.
