I did play a HPD officer for a while and felt like I had way too much power, and decided to bat on the other end of the spectrum. From the POV of someone working in HCS, there isn't much which it seems my lawyer character is able to do. Sure, I can show up to the station and be an annoyance, but there can be zero interaction with the person my lawyer was sent to intervene on behalf of, let alone alter outcomes.

It's not like I've been the most active person around, but lately I decided to give this a try again and received a reminder on why all the lawyers except for Why Tamales don't bother to show up anymore. I get that due process is a mere myth in Hathian but something's gotta give. Are there any plans to give the lawyers of HCS some kind of agency, or is this a prelude to being told to fuck off?
