Vudu Spice Shop

BACKGROUND: As Lead, I would like to see the Vudu shop more integrated into the roleplay of the sim on a day to day basis. We are in the core of Voodoo Culture. How many times have people traveled to New Orleans just for the reason of the culture or shows being based around it. I want to draw in that interest again. Perhaps even working with the Spiritual shop as I see we have one of those as well. Having visited New orleans and Louisiana many times, it is an entire different world almost. It is thick with history and salivates with a culture all it's own. The angel would be both balanced between light and dark. Voodoo can be both. It could be used as a means to help a grieving person get passed a death of a loved on with a closing séance or as dark as selling hallucinogenic hers mixed with the blood of others. Even darker still, travel down a worn hole of confusion and even death from mixing the wrong herbs into marijuana. Something innocent turned deadly or vile. As far as events, there are many that come to mind but to name a few, a barbeque, a séance, blood moon celebrations, sacrificial nights and dancing under the moon the full moon covered in the blood of the sacrificial 'lamb' be that animal or human blood that is to be determined. Gatherings of any kind can be stretched from light and happy to dark and sinister. I want to just keep the roleplay going and growing. I want to ensnare people with the roleplay and the possibilities to come. Pulling from different books written on the voodoo culture to fantasy novels and even shows for inspiration. New Employees are a great way to bring in roleplay. Not just roleplay but to bring their own spice to the vudu shop. Everyone comes to the shop for one reason or the other. Is it just to gain points or is it something that they like about the Voodoo culture that they heard off. I want to find out what they like and what brought them there so that I can guide us all into some sort of conjoined fun, twisting and turning roleplay. My Character fits into management as she is guided by the want to help her family and sharing the knowledge of Voodoo. She is a Fallen moon and Voodoo Priestess. She believes in all things that revolve around it. She really truly believes in it. I think this is a good way for her to take the management and incorporate her knowledge into the store.

UNIQUE: I have really wanted to dive head first into this business. I love this culture and all that revolves around it. I want it to be a cover front for the Hoppers but also want to be inclusive. I think by drawing out the strange and unusual with offer that. I am really hoping to take on this adventure.

EXPERIENCE: I have the knowledge of running multiple businesses in real life and bringing them successful. I have also been a lead to a finance department for a computer company as well as lead of my household and all that comes with that.

IDEAS: New Employees are a great way to bring in roleplay. Not just roleplay but to bring their own spice to the vudu shop. Everyone comes to the shop for one reason or the other. OTHER: For a grand reopening, I have been considering doing a séance, barbeque or blood moon ritual. I haven't landed on which one or if I want to add them all. It is about bringing in roleplay and having fun with it. The one thing that Hathian really loves is a reason to party and get together. I would love to be able to do this.
