Hi there! I just joined the Crack Den RP a couple nights ago at the suggestion of my SL husband (who also joined but has such limited time, so I don't know how often he'll actually be there, if any). I've had experience in lots of different RP genres in SL, as well as tabletop RPGs in RL. Though this is the first time I've tried anything like Crack Den. So we'll see. 🙂

My character (same name) is basically a younger, more naive version of me--makes it easier to play that way, at least for me. She's come to the city in desperation. At 28 years old, she's been sheltered most of her life, growing up in a small town in Indiana. Her parents were well enough to do that Billi didn't have to work and was still living at home. Until both parents died in an auto accident. Not at all worldly wise, she accepted the help of her uncle with their estate. And, of course, the scoundrel managed to cheat her out of her inheritance and throw her out on the street. He also spread false rumors that she was a prostitute, so no one in the small community was willing to help her or even listen to her. With what little money she had left, she gathered up what she could and bought a bus ticket to Haitian, thinking it sounded like a friendly town . . .

Now that she's arrived, she's still very much adrift, though she did meet a man that first evening who offered to become her "manager" . . . She wasn't sure what he meant, but knowing no one else in the city, she accepted, hoping to have a friend . . . (OOC: The fellow was new, too, hadn't completed his registration yet, so we'll see if that potential storyline actually develops . . .) She got separated from her new friend, though, and wandered the city alone, hoping to find him again. She ended up sleeping in a park. The next day, she ran across the Titty Twister and saw it was hiring "dancers" . . . She'd taken various dance classes in college--and a girlfriend of hers worked at a strip bar so she'd seem many of the moves--so she applied for a job there and was hired as a stripper. Though she worked the pole there for a couple hours to get used to it, no customers came by, so she's still awaiting her first actual shift. She is very curious, though, what all the equipment in the back rooms is for . . .

Billi is bright and intelligent but very naive and easily led astray. She's submissive and introverted, though she has a love of performing that she hopes will be fulfilled by dancing at the TT. Despite being shy, she can be open and friendly. Though not totally virginal--she did go to college--she's not at all experienced nor worldly wise in the ways of sex. Still she's very curious and open to exploring almost anything. Which, I imagine, should get her into lots of trouble in the city . . . She's very fond of tequila, and her favorite drink is a Long Island ice tea--usually a double. After which, she pretty much loses most inhibitions.

What I'm hoping for is to take my character from her initial naitivity into slowly being corrupted from a sweet and innocent girl to a few-limits prostitute working not only the TT but the streets of the city (if the one fellow does get registered and becomes her "manager" or if anyone else wants to help with that). That seems to be the fun thing for her for now, though I'm sure other possibilities may open up. Perhaps she'll secure additional work somewhere in town. (Have only just begun to explore . . .)
