Hi there,

I currently rp in Crack Den, which is a dark urban rp that mirrors the daily struggles of living in a modern day gang ridden inner city. I have been rping for a total of seven years, five of which have been on sl and I am a para posters. I am now looking to expand my character's story and need a few players to do so. If you are interested please continue to read. I ask for you all not to take a role as a family member if you cannot commit to the role. I ask that you be free to rp and mingle with family members at least three days a week between the times of 9 am slt and 9 pm slt. You must have the basic knowledge of sentence structure, grammar, punctuation and spelling. I'm not asking you to be perfect or to be an English major and typos are ok, but your writing should be easily deciphered by everyone. Thank you in advance.

I am looking for people to play cousins to my character, Jontea Lamar DeCuir Jr., mostly originating out of Louisiana but can come from other parts of the United States if you have an already established background story and would like to mesh it with mine.

About the family:

* DeCuirs are very, very, very loyal to one another so no turning against family type of rp allowed. Sibling fights and rivalry is ok, but no back stabbing or hurting/turning against each other. The saying blood is thicker than water is held to the utmost esteem in this family.

* DeCuirs usually do not complete any education higher than high school as they would rather live off of what the streets can provide for them.

* No raping females. The males of this family do not believe in forcing themselves onto women and feel it is the lowest thing that a man could do and that it is deemed unmanly. The only exception is when it comes to prostitutes.

* No incest.

* The DeCuir women are feisty, strong and kick ass. No battered women syndrome or any of that, the girls would not tolerate it.

* Jontae has taught ALL his sisters, including the youngest one, how to fight and use weapons including knives and guns (though you will have to gain cred to use a gun in Crack Den).

* The DeCuir family used to run a drug, marijuana growing, and prostitution organization in Bayou Cane, LA until Jontae's father was taken out, meaning he is dead, so the family members would be familiar with gang, drug and prostitution dealings that their family is involved in.

* The girls will more than likely, but NOT always, date guys like their brother and father; gangsters, drug dealers, pimps, that sort of thing but they DON'T have to.

* ethnic background: 3/8 Cajun , ½ Native American Houma (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Houma_Tribe) and 1/8 black, their grandmother on the father's side was ½ Cajun and ½ black, mother’s side is 100% Native American Houma.

* DeCuir women breed young, but NOT always. Jontae's mother was 16 and father was 17 when he was born. Now we all know that you CANNOT be under the age of 18 and be pregnant in SL, at least I don't think so, so you can be 18 and pregnant if you want to be.

* siblings are ok and happy that their father's best friend is now dating their mother and trying to put the DeCuir reign back together in Bayou Cane.

* family NPC's all living in Bayou Cane:

~ Great Grandpa DeCuir: deceased, age when died: 72, built the house that Granny DeCuir lives in and is buried in the backyard with his other relatives in above ground tombs.

~ Grandpa DeCuir: deceased, age when died: 59, was born and died in the house that Granny DeCuir lives in and is buried in the backyard with his other relatives in above ground tombs.

~ Granny DeCuir/Lena Mae DeCuir: age - 66, half Cajun/half black, always got her shot gun. Organizes all of the imports and exports of the drugs the family obtains. Lives in a fairly large swamp house that is ran down. She refuses to renovate it and 'patches' the roof and other parts up by herself. Refuses to leave the house to live with Ma. Don't let looks fool you because the woman has a gold mine stored somewhere lols. Maiden name: Treadwell.

~ Tobey: age 15, Granny DeCuir's old blood hound. Still got a lot of fight in him.

~ Ma/Mama/Angela DeCuir: age - 47, full blooded Native American Houma, is now dating her husband's best friend after he died who is trying to rebuild the DeCuir reign in Bayou Cane. Lives in a nice three bedroom + attic house left to her from the children's father. Jontae was fortunate to have the attic room to himself. The two oldest girls shared one room and the three youngest shared a room.

~ Pa/Papa/Jontae Winston DeCuir Sr.: decease, age when died: 48, ¼ black and ¾ Cajun. He died in January of 2013 at the hands of a rival drug organization and Jontae left Bayou Cane in fear that he was next on the list. His resting place is in an above ground tomb in Granny DeCuir's back yard.

~ Thompson 'Thommy' Reddman: age - 50, Pa's best friend that is now dating Ma and is trying to put the DeCuir reign back together in Bayou Cane. Full blooded Cajun with red hair (Gambit anybody?).

* please note that the DeCuir reign is not a big huge organization. It is relatively small but brings in big money. The family does have connections to drug runners in South America, though. The family never really had to want for anything.

* the use of drugs and alcohol is very open and lenient in the family. Jontae’s mother snorted coke while she was pregnant with all of the children and Jontae took his first puff of weed and drink of alcohol at the age of ten and have been running the streets since then. He first snorted coke when he was thirteen. Rather your character uses drugs, drink alcohol or is involved in gang activity or the sort is up to you.

Thank you for reading all of this and if you would like to join me in rp, IM Gamja Myanamotu. Thank you once again.
