faithtang residentsaidGBTL x Wedding Bells Posted to the Observer Forums due to the Print Edition still not able to be produced. It is with great pleasure that the Observer has been chosen to carry the official wedding announcement for a much respect couple within our City. I hope all our readers can join me in congratulating the newlyweds and I look forward to celebrating with them at a future reception to be announced shortly; I'm expecting the party of the year! So, without further ado... Einar Rolfson is pleased to announce his marriage to Loki River Rolfson, both of Hathian City. The marriage was officiated by HPD Officer Lizette Zero, with HPD Detective Landon Fyre as witness. Readers, I do love a wedding and the vows... beautiful. I've taken the liberty of reproducing parts of the ceremony below and hope that it brings you all a little comfort and joy in the dark of Hathian. Einar Rolfson: "With this ring o' da Pacific Islands, home ta da Island o' Somoa an your home, I pledge my life for ya. I pledge my love for ya. I pledge that in all things, ya an our children shall always come first. As I stare here inta your speckled, mismatched eyes, I see only da love I have known since we shared our first kiss. Da love that had us entwined since da night I first stopped an introduced myself ta ya. Wit this ring, I claim this woman, Loki River Rolfson as my Wife, an vow to place her above all others an all things!" Loki Rolfson: "That love was there when we didn't even know it or recognize it, helped us save each other's lives and bring us to where we are now. I am humbled by it every day. If I do nothing more than spend the rest of my life loving you, I will be complete. I love you too." They exchanged matching rings under the watchful eyes of the two HPD officers, with the water lapping behind them in a perfect Hathian afternoon. The radiant smile of the new Mrs. Rolfson outshone the sparkle on the water as she and Einar hugged. So reader, when you're a bit down, or when you read too much of Barley or whomever it was on Twitter saying romance is dead in Hathian, think again. Out there are couples doing what the rest of the world does, loving, cherishing and supporting - basking in each other without a care for you, I or your downers. I know I'm hoping one day to feel the same - we all deserve it. - GBTL |
