piper rewellsaidRejects TYPE: MEMBERS: anasilan kytori, nazeeya yven, piper rewell BACKGROUND: The fabled history of the Rejects begin before my time, I was the caretaker, among others of this fine CD Tradition. The Rejects are based in Hathian, and have business set up for cocaine trade with New Orleans, they aren't a cartel, they deal with a middle man who talks to those that bring it in to the country. The Rejects are interested mostly in controlling the traffic of coke, keeping it in the streets, and occasionally turf troubles. They have no grand ambitions of power, and at the end of the day are focused around greed. In the gang there is a boss,(Parnell), and two lieutenants, (Ella),(Rory). Everyone else is a dealer. I do wish to enforce this point this time around, where there is no dead weight, everyone will sell drugs. Not necessarily hand to handing in the street, however, Rejects will be expected to run other non gang dealers, and affiliates who sell for the Rejects. (There will always be more dealers than people i'll have in the gang.) Funding for the Rejects is almost exclusively through the sale of cocaine. UNIQUE: I'd like to take a slightly different approach with this. Rather than have an actual business that all the Rejects hang out in, i'd like to have them hang out on the street where Bourbon turns before it hits the TT, between the bridge and Lou's. I've been doing grassroots work trying to establish a drug block, a place where dealers are almost constantly rping, and will hopefully eventually have prostitutes, drug addicts, and all likes of seedy individuals that occupy the street there. The gang would take on a business for the purpose of money laundering and all that, but I don't want a building that people sit in, I want a street that they occupy. The RP is more open, it involves anyone who walks past, rather than those that choose to enter a buisness. FLAW: Its a group of 'rejects' led by a greedy self serving drug addict. Also, easy target for the law. POTENTIAL ENEMY: If i'm able to have my spot on the street, it will create an instant flash point in which the politics of the street there are influenced by drug dealers, and the market itself. It puts them at odds with anybody else in that area, as well as places them in the politics of the red light district. I want that neighborhood to be a stark contrast to the rather vanilla main street right up the road. EXPERIENCE:I did this for a long time, i've taken my breaks here and there, the time was never right to come back and do this. I'm ready now, I got a good core of solid people that are RP tested and no what their doing. I don't think my leadership of the Rejects in the past was ever causes of problems in the sim and I do not wish for it to be moving forward, nor would I tolerate it. IDEAS:Naturally, as the area i'm interested in is on the edge or Reapers turf, and is nearly focal in control of the red light district, that will no doubt create a positive flash point of rp. Right now we have been actively seeking out all the drug dealers we can find and initiating what Parnell refers to as. "A get down, lay down policy." You buy from the Rejects or you face serious consequences. OTHER:If i'm able to have my spot on the street, it will create an instant flash point in which the politics of the street there are influenced by drug dealers, and the market itself. It puts them at odds with anybody else in that area, as well as places them in the politics of the red light district.
