TYPE: Sports Bar & Shooting Range

BACKSTORY: Lock 'n' Load (LNL) is a sports bar with a shooting range upstairs. LNL will host regular sports team socials and offers anyone who is in a sports team 10% off their drinks. We celebrate our sports people with pictures of our teams on the walls and screens showing their games. The bar will be a social hub, perfectly positioned a short walk from the university class rooms it will be a convenient stop off point on route to Aurora and Murphy's. The shooting range houses 4 ranges where people can practice their shooting skills. It is hoped that CU will eventually start a shooting team, taking part in competitive shooting in the range. It is also a CUPD training centre allowing CUPD to train their officers to a high standard on gun use. The rules of the shooting range are "no guns in and no guns out" this is to reduce the risk of carry around campus. Education around the consequences of gun violence will accompany the training. It is hoped that as well as being a place to hangout for sports teams and their fans discussions could be had around guns and their use and we could host some OOC events on combat etiquette. LNL also has a small rental shop which is currently rented by "Rockstar Music" and we plan on doing a number of x events.
