GROUP NAME: Starlust Motel

BACKGROUND: I'm looking to use the motel as a front for my faction Conejo. I'm not sure that I have a ton of ideas for events at this time but there's a big open parking lot so a block party comes to mind. Some grills, food, drinks, drugs. I don't plan to use it for human trafficking, another faction / business is already doing that and it goes against Conejo's belief system. A lot of undocumented individuals do come through BW so I'll be using it as a place to sell FFF. Focusing on Forgery, using the back office as a place to make false documentation, identification, or licenses. If you RP somewhere then people will naturally go there. I think just having a presence in the motel will draw traffic in. I'm sure lots of lewd people just need a place to ERP sometimes so starlust motel is there to provide that service.

UNIQUE: It's the only motel on sim, it already stands out. Focusing on the gang and criminal activity will make it stand out more. It will function as a base for Conejo as a faction, lots of space for meetings, more space to hold kidnapped victims for extended periods of time (with consent) of other factions etc. I want to generate more RP with as many groups as I can.

EXPERIENCE:I've been a RPer for 13 years now, in that time I've lead various groups, guilds, and story arcs for different kinds of RP across different mediums. As far as Secondlife goes I've only been around a couple of years and in that time I've had similar positions on other sims ranging from storyteller to faction leads. I'm intelligent, I value communication, and I'm level headed.

IDEAS:I'm going to engage everyone of my employees directly, this is an official business so I won't deny anyone from working here but I still want to do IC interviews with everyone that does. As for engaging new players, I'm sure they will be drawn to the location on their own, I'll direct people to it when they need a place to stay and wish to have that sort of RP with a hotel owner.

OTHER:A late night bon fire in the parking lot with lots of hard liquor so participants wouldn't be able to drive themselves home and would thus need to check out a room. Genius business strategy.
