BACKGROUND: Yinmi is Mandarin for "hidden and secret" (隐秘) The Yheng family dates back to roughly the 8th century. In Chinese culture they are mostly known as a war mongering and criminal family. They live by their own laws without any regard for national or local laws. While the Yheng men are traditionally dominating and violent, the Yheng women are smart, cunning and a bit crazy. The family is run from Hong Kong, family members are brought to the US or called back when the family feels like it. Since Ming Yheng was called back to Hong Kong, the remaining Yhengs have discussed how to continue generating income for the family. The opium trade was deemed less profitable, so they have decided to set up a business in bodies and body parts. All for the benefit of mankind, research and the money pots of the Yheng family. And to satisfy the darker lusts of everybody. Especially ourselves. Within the family, Li Moon Yheng is forcing herself up to the lead of the family. it is not unchallenged, because she is not a real Yheng, she was adopted. But she is cruel, and smart. on occasions. And slightly perverted, in the sense that she has no conscience, nor restrictions. Ai-Li Yheng is Li Moon's aunt, older and therefore she should be in charge. But Ai-Li is weaker, she will let herself be bullied by her niece, although she will try to manipulate things behind the scene. Mu-Jin Yheng is Li Moon's brother, though a realy Yheng, half Chinese, half Korean. That makes him unworthy. He is a typical Yheng man. Sort of the pitbull of the family. If you want someone to get bitten, he's the one to send. Les "the Scot" Trenton is not Chinese, he is a Scot, the networker, the accountant. He operates behind the scene, but he is valued and respected by all triad members. Asiahn Ocampo is the most recent member. She might be a Yheng, because she might turn out to be the daughter of Ru Yheng, Ai-Li's brother. DNA will show out if that is the case, unless Li Moon can succeed in switching samples ... The triad wants to set up a business in bodies and body parts. you know, spare parts and replacements. The triad aims at kidnapping people. we have thought of ways to do this. First, plain and simple, just grab them, knock in the head, bag and cuff. Second, they come to the takeaway, where we can drug them with a sedative, or we accuse them of stealing, and have them sent to prison (we don't have a police connection yet, but we struck a deal with the prison warden responsible for prisoner transport). We still need to discuss things with Lucius of the asylum. The takeaway in Backwaters (Midnight Mandarin) fits into this story. The takeaway offers Chinese food and beyond, with a special menu and topless serving. So they lure people to the takeaway. They are monitored, judged and based on that, it is decided if they are going to be kidnapped or not. Though that monitoring will extend to wherever the triad members go to. Once we have control over our victim, many things can happen. Obviously, we can work out our frustrations, lusts and desires on them. Or practice our skills on them. The victims are put of for use and abuse to whoever pays for it. The triad is not planning to go into the regular drug business. This means they can ally with other groups, like drug kartels. Especially at the start, a truce is safer. Until they are strong enough and the truce is broken ...

UNIQUE: The victims are put of for use and abuse to whoever pays for it. Either in the prison or the asylum. so they will be available in an underground bdsm network, for extreme porn and even for snuff. The triad has contacts with an order that studies the human genome for lots of reasons. They need sample materials like human breast milk, semen, finger and toe nail clippings, adrenaline, sweat, blood, hair, skin, and various other neurotransmitters which they synthesize into other things. And they are willing to pay for it. The next line of profit are organs. In Israel, they pay up to 160,000 $ for a kidney. And our victims have two. they can miss one. the ones who end up dead in the bdsm or the snuff place can provide liver, heart. we're set for big profits. Before and after taxes, coz we won't pay any. We'll need some investments. Like medicine, sedatives, aphrodisiacs, and such. So a good connection with a clinic or hospital is necessary too.

FLAW: the violence of the Yheng men the weakness of Ai-Li the extremely poor English of Li Moon and her total lack of empathy their pride and honor getting in the way of a good deal. the Yheng gearbox has no reverse The group relies very much on their network. links to clinics for the sedatives, the link to the prison and the asylum to place their victims, the blind eye of the cops ... The triad is not yet in a position to control all of these contacts and make them an offer they can't refuse (imagine the hoarse voice of Marlon Brando saying that). so they are vulnerable. Li Moon and Mu-Jin are violent, the others are less violent. That might make them look weaker in the eyes of other gangs, like the Suenos Malos

POTENTIAL ENEMY: collaboration with: - Backwaters prison, through the warden (Sydney November) - the asylum, through their manager, L - the clinic, through Alice "Crow" Lehane - the Backwaters sheriffs (Victoria, Hailey) are corrupt as hell, but we'll occasionally make them feel we are in charge - the Suenos Malos: we will both be starting groups, so instead of fighting each other, we will help each other. Until trust is shattered, the truce is broken (when both groups are stronger), at which point we might end up in a gang war - the Hoppers. Who isn't an enemy of the Hoppers? We will of course scout the students of Columtreal University. Li Moon has become a pledge of the BIX sorority, she heard they are in human trafficking ... could be a competitor, or a resource ... and I'm sure we'll piss off a lot more in the process

EXPERIENCE:I have spent many online years in SL Gor, as a panther girl, running a group for several years, lately I am more a behind the scenes person in a panther band, because there's not much storylines anymore, due to lack of real rp'ers. So I brought an alt into CD, many years ago. I did struggle a lot to build rp, often finding people to ignore a newcomer like me. My experience in running that tribe is that you have to do the opposite, welcome new people, give them time to grow into rp and the location we rp in. Aside the creation of storylines, where creativity comes from interaction, i find a good ooc understanding with others very important. All the rest is about being patient and tolerant.

IDEAS:anyone who comes to the sim with the intention to rp is welcome, and will be met with a rp. As long as they are not shocked when they don't get a "hi hello" IC greeting, but some insult, accusation or other kind of vicious remark. At all times we must avoid to only play with the ones we know, and include anyone showing up. The Midnight Mandarin is essential for that, but so are all the other locations where we go to, like bars, the motel, the university etc.
