The Broken Eco system of BW and its negative impact on traffic

I've been playing in BW on and off since its official opening, and while some changes have been made over time, the problems at its core remains unsolved.

When creating a new character, I was prompted with the "You need to get arrested to increase street credit" to be eligible for a gun permit.

Arrested by who exactly?!

The Sheriff Department never got the update that was promised, so there is no report database that triggers street credit when arrested. There is no active leadership on LSD driving roleplay, there is no hierachy of any kind, and theres no sense of direction. As a consequence, ther eis also very few deputies knowing what to do.

As a consequence of a lacking LSD, it makes no sense to be a criminal either. The gangs that have been established from day one and since, have all seen their activity slowly dwindle once the momentum runs out. Gangs seem to take over a business, and with no input from regular rp traffic, they die out, or get fed up with only having in-house rp, and you can only do that for so long.

With no LSD and only a few active criminals, there are no conflict for a Medical Clinic or Fire Department to clean up. So theres little point in that too.

I keep seeing business leaders with great ideas take over leads of establihsments, but their hope and dreams quickly die to the lack of traffic entering the businesses. This is not however only a BW issue, I see the same happening in CU/Hathian, and it would be great to see OOC classes held specifically for Busienss leaders across all 3 sims, like you do ooc classes for combat. Sharing the experiences and ideas used in running businesses would be grand.

I still believe BW has the most potential of all the 3 sims, but not as long as no work is being put into it fixing its basic roleplay infrastructure and systems. Building a new part of town and adding businesses, and then doing nothing more clearly doesn't increase traffic in any capacity.

BW just isn't all that fun nor engaging to be part of, and I have to go to Hathian to be a crminal and get arrested for street credit, which blows out the purpose of the HUD altogether, and doesn't bring more roleplay to Backwasters as a whole.

Just my 2 cent.
