GROUP NAME: Please Release Me

TYPE: Massage Parlor

SLURL: Teleport

BACKSTORY: Gao has recently come into a wad of cash due to the settlement with her parents' death and a bout of restlessness...at the same time. Life in Hathian is stressful, everyone knows that. Please Release Me would be a pleasant sort of place for those to just lie back and forget their current troubles on an half hour to an hourly basis. Despite the stereotypes that would obviously surround such an establishment, Please Release Me would be more than just a place to get your rub and tug on. I'd like to see it as a welcoming spot for all citizens to relax and refresh before going right back out into the crazy, crazy world we all love.

UNIQUE: While it is on the naughty strip of street (I'm assuming it will be on the naughty strip in town), it actually won't be completely focused on sex. Not that I want to completely sanitize the place, but the argument for making it more welcoming just makes sense. I've been reading up on the forums where the parlor has been brought up and want to use some of those ideas to make it more welcoming like adding a tanning booth and making spa treatments available or making sure that the workers have the option to go as far as they wish (though, naturally, their income will depend on their skill and/or how far they wish to go to satisfy their customer). In all, I'd want this to be a place where all sorts of people could come in for their Release...as they define it.

EXP:I have been RPing in SL since 2007 (well, me and my army 'o Alts and changing mains), and have held leadership/moderator positions in a couple of RP sims. I also have a near allergy to drama, which makes me want to take the fastest route to end it should/if it happen.

IDEAS:I hope to provide another opportunity for players that maybe want to dip their toes into the sexy RP. For the community as a whole, provide another great option for people to RP, from cranky business owners who just want the kink in their shoulders to the sorority chicks who want to freshen up their tans and look even sluttier for a bar crawl to the drunk sleazes who want a quick HJ on the way home and everyone in between. When it come to events, I am admittedly brainstorming at this point, since these sort of places tend not to advertise too heavily lest they get the cops attention in a bad way. I could see, however, ads in the local paper, featured girl or guy for that week with a good deal on their services. But I would like to work with the other businesses on that street, make some deals and arrangements to work together (hey, stripper heels are killer on the feet!) and to not step on any toes, since I suspect there would be a bit of overlap when it comes to the worker pool.

OTHER:I think since the massage parlor has been a part of CD that its return will be very, very welcome.
