PROPOSAL BY: James Matfield

GROUP NAME: Jimmie's

TYPE: restaurant/ Fast Food

SLURL: Teleport

BACKSTORY: Jimmie's has been around for a while, possibly having been destroyed in the final big explosion before it could ever reopen. During the towns reconstruction, plans came into place to reopen and supply Hathian's chicken needs. James Matfield however wasn't the person you'd expect to be running the place. But things kinda went bad over the past year for James. He came to this town with high hopes of saving peoples lives, both in medical ways and from themselves. He watched as the very gang members he sought to save stabbed and raped the people he loved and cared for. He would try to save lives only to see many wiped out. He swore he'd never fall in love and would focus on his career, instead he ended up not only in love with one girl, but unable to resist the temptations of others. He became a drinker and instead of working to solve his problems, he just lived life fast and hard, like Charlie Sheen. His life spiralled out of control until he woke up recently with the realization he was hurting more than he was saving... With that in mind, he knew he wasn't worthy to be a doctor...plus the three kids he found himself fathering through his selfish sex acts left him hurting financially and almost willing to take any job that pays a dime..lucky for him, the management job at Jimmies came open and he applied. If hired, he would have the hard choice whether to hang up the doctors coat for good and give up on saving lives..or try to work both jobs and pay his child support willingly like a good dad. Chances are, going from doctor to Chicken cook wasn't the best for finances..but to him..seems like it's a whole lot less stress.

UNIQUE: I hope to help spread out more of the rp to other restaurant's such as Jimmie's where in the past it seemed like most everyone just ate at the Gein. I thought of maybe getting with Harley and rping some price and restaurant wars since both our establishments would be competing in ways for everyones business. I would like to also help promote more everyday life rp for those who just want the simple eating out rp (no dirty joke intended there). Another good idea I have had was to come up with a chicken suit to have one of my employees or even myself dress up in and walk around town to hand out flyers. There would be lots of fun rp that could stem from that...probably wouldn't always end well. Just a few of my ideas of how I would encourage rp there and will surely be thinking up others as I help and encourage positive rp with no drama.

EXP: I have always tried to be open and honest with people and if there was a problem came up, I willingly talked people through it. I think its important to understand where someone is coming from and not rush to pass judgment on others in their rp. We all rp differently and have all different goals and what we get out of rp. I think my ability to take a passive stance to life helps alot and would like to think that with my honesty and dedication to rp here would make me a good leader. I have been in cd for about a year now and have learned so much about rping and telling stories. I realized quickly that the best rps aren't about me but about others and how the rp affects them and changes their stories. The way things impact each other. Before long, I found myself enjoying making more rp for others than creating more for myself, which I think is very important as people are likely to enjoy a rp that isn't just about one person.

IDEAS: Well like I mentioned earlier in my proposal, I think the idea of getting more everyday life rp going would help lead to more stories and get more people involved. Like when I was new, I was totally lost on where to start and who to rp with. But getting a job at the hospital helped me meet so many people and a few here, like Piper helped me get into storylines really fast. I want to keep the chain going like that by offering a place with active rp where a new person could start off and find rp really quickly. Maybe I will stick them in the chicken costume and ask them to hand out flyers in front of the gein? Maybe they wont and I will have to do it myself. Key thing is we will get to rp that choice. I plan on also hosting events and sales icely, making flyers in notecards or on the forums that shows the sales so people can come and rp it. Maybe there will be chicken eating contests too, really theres alot of things that can be done to stem activities. Ooc I will help like I said by offering a place for new people to start and feel welcome and get into deeper rps right off the bat.

OTHER: I think that a place like Jimmie's is important to Hathian's economy and the rp economy so to speak. Kinda like our own version of kfc...but greasier I'd imagine...I think with my ideas and the great rpers we have here it would be a great fit for the Crack Den.
