Born somewhere fairly insignificant in the eastend of London, Emily probably lived a fairly ordinary life being the only child of a single father. A fairly unremarkable upbringing lead her to a furtherly unremarkable life until her early teens where her father, a manager of illegal pitfighting and betting establishments, pulled her into his grimy, brutal world.
Starting her in the ring with other kids her age, her father began to turn her head away from education and into more seedy, shady, and sadistic work. Eventually becoming a dangerous underdog in the underworld of the city, occasionally beating even the most hulky of competetors.
This life was gruesome, yet somehow steady, as it took her right up to the age of seventeen where Emily used some of her amassed winnings to hitch a flight over to a city in the states called Hathian, where supposedly her uncle lives. Predictably, Emily couldn't get hold of her uncle when in the country, nor could afford to get a flight straight back, leading her to her only option. To stay in the Crack Den.
