Why am I always the bitch for pointing out an ongoing issue that never gets addressed? I feel like I'm being gaslit by an entire RP sim because every time I mention it, I get told to discuss this in private. I'm sure I'm not the only one whose time is being wasted waiting for someone to type (even after I initiate) only to have them fuck off without a word 15 minutes later. And they hang around the sim without a tag (not even the OOC tag or CD Drifter tag) so I have no way of knowing if they're a CD Citizen willing to engage in RP or just a moron.

Is it too much to expect AFK players, new and old, to wear their OOC tags when they're in a public area of the sim like the Admission office at CU or a fast food joint? It's fine if you're in your character's home. But parking your avatar in public buildings and in the middle of the street without an OOC tag tells everyone you're there to RP.

I have been nothing but welcoming of new players. When I see them without a tag or wearing the CD Drifter tag I try to point them in the right direction and help them get acquainted with post order, tags and even Hathian lore. But when a player is not responsive I don't think the solution is to tell me to reach out to them via IMs.

Blocking my first thread also makes it unlikely for other players to come forward.
