To my fellow members:

If you see someone doing something outside the rules(guns on an unarmed Crim, trying to roleplay without an appropriate tag), force posting out of ignorance of RP, hijacking RP, whatever whatever...

Maybe this approach would go farther with newbies and regulars:

In OOC: Hey, what is it you are trying to do? ..... Well I noticed ________ and you know, there are some rules against doing that or some processes you gotta go through, let me help you.

You give them two posts to respond without being idiots, and then, high and mighty elitism can ensue. But we'd all get a lot farther if we facilitated the growth of the players and the plots around us, it can only enrich our own roleplay to do so.

I've watched 2 fairly decent writers bullied out of play and probably the Sim the last week because some other player used it as an opportunity to elevate themselves as guardians of roleplay.

And maybe its my background in consulting in RL but there is way too much "you can't" happening and not enough "here's how to accomplish your well intended desires" and better yet "here are some great ideas and ways I can help you"
