The Proposal/Feedback Phase is an important part of faction development and approval, so please read this over and ask questions, express what you like, give suggestions you have, advice on what may or may not work based on your experience, etc. Keep in mind that admins do not necessarily need to be convinced to approve it, as a faction without potential wouldn't even be posted. Feedback means both support and giving what you see could help shape their faction story and place in the community!

The Harlots

BACKGROUND: The Harlots is already a gang in Hathian, but not much more than a small grouping without much real presence or power at this point. For that reason I want to take over the Hathian Harlots, to reinvent them and give them a new identity. Focusing away on being a purely sex work based gang and more into a gang with lighter sex based elements, while including elements about protection and defence (something akin to you can be a whore but that's not all we are). I still wish to focus on the unity and protection of RLD workers and have a primary focus around the RLD but also include it to be LGBTQ+ positive as they are often victims of attacks and persecution. My Idea for the Harlots continuation is not that of a traditional gang that focus on gang warfare or turf control, we are sex workers, societies disenfranchised, we quite frankly will never have the heft or weight like the Rejects or Yuugen as we won't attract people of their ilk, that is our weakness and our strength. We shall focus on allowing those who need protection to find a way to become strong with us rather than being naturally strong and even stronger as a group.

UNIQUE: My plan is to make the Harlots more a Robin Hood style gang, not to the point where we will be trying to right every wrong within Hathian or stealing from the rich, but focusing on using our unity to help the underprivileged and disliked in society, or at least those with lower social standing. For example i wish to start producing our own lines of custom drugs, which would also include discount HRT for those unable or unwilling to afford prices of the American system. But also using our capabilities to start producing drugs focused on aphrodisiac effects that i've not really seen be produced by other gangs, allowing us to carve out our own more niche area of Hathian's gang life

FLAW: We will never bee a strong grouping, we will inherantly attract the weak and those unable to defend themselves from outside forces

EXPERIENCE: Been around CD for a few years now, I have a good grasp of the scene and theme. I also have a fairly well known character that people can identify Easily. I already have connections and histories with other gangs and factions.

IDEAS: By moving away from just sexual themes and sex based RP, yet retaining its core message and using the sex positive vibes that the Harlots have always embodied i hope to be able to revitalise the gang into a more productive and wider grouping that allows us to become not just another gang but a genuine presence that adds to Hathian.
