It definitely seems like a fun plan, might just be a good idea to first get a solid core of players together to push forward from there organically. Develop the group ICly so to speak? That usually keeps people engaged more than just some oath or similar.

Being able to edit your posts would be pretty useful in general, especially when it comes to fixing things in introductory writeups or the like.
