Lil grew up in Ohio, the eldest child of a neurosurgeon and an astrophysicist. She excelled in school and her unusual hobby of not-so-covert vigilantism. If some of the reports are to be believed, she 'saved the world' once or twice. (Critics figure her parents bought press articles and hired actors to let her live out fantastic adventures as part of a 'family tradition').

After high school and college in Japan, she tried to relive those days by moving into various failing urban areas. She would then try to assist the down-trodden and eliminate oppressors. This has not always gone as planned. Hathian is a new start.
