I think most people that currently play at the Prison (myself included in the past) have just RPed that they were in prison for “crimes”, without any involvement from LSD officially.

Also, I have been RPing contraband RP already with a couple of people, so would love to RP more of that!

Wilbur is always hilarious in RP so I assume this will be fun!

I like the idea of the Harlots as sort of  the protectors of the RLD/it’s denizens and less of a traditional gang. This seems like a great proposal to me!

As an aside, I liked Harlot alley (and RPed there often) something like that makes sense in general for the sim even if not related to the gang – you see sidewalk marketplaces like this in…[Read more]

Seems like a good idea to me, I personally don’t even think it needs to have a hidden criminal enterprise, a lively establishment can be fun on it’s own.

Ael/Tanith is an excellent roleplayer and this would be a great fit!

Note – I think you need to wear the HUD to earn chapters from on-sim RP. Could be wrong, though! Either way, the first few should come very quickly! Welcome!

I have also always RPed that there is  ferry between the two as well as a bus and a road. I feel like someone else mentioned that too me, but either way a ferry seems evocative anyway so I liked RPing that I take the ferry.

One suggestion – if you implement AI staff for places, it would be great if they could tell if someone was clocked in at the business and then turn off. To avoid a scenario where if someone enjoys tending bar or something, AI Simon at Lou’s doesn’t just serve all the drinks before they can type their post.

For work release, my thinking (as someone who likes prison RP) is that its tough when no one is there, it’s pretty boring obviously. So if there was some mechanism where you could leave and it not be unrealistic that you left could be helpful. Love the idea of the Prison being more active!

If it’s hard getting people to RP at the prison, perhaps some sort of “work-release” punishment could be done, where people can serve their sentence on the weekends or something similar.

Someone (I forget who) was making something kind of like this awhile back but I think it’s gone. Louisiana has a large Vietnamese population ( https://64parishes.org/entry/vietnamese-in-louisiana ), so it would be cool if someone incorporated Vietnamese culture into something like this.
