*Stands on soap box*

I really didn't want to bring this here, and I am aware Twitter is sort of a collective off sim unregulated creature, but I have some recommendations.

For one, the ooc is now a little disturbing and a whole lot of nonsense about real life issues. I get that we are all friends here, but when I'm hearing about you real life issues so much that I can't remember what's up with your character, its too much.

Two, can we stop with all the 'this is me' 'this is my car' 'this is my cat 'this is -fill in the blank-' tweets!? Don't you all have your own Twitter accounts?! Why does my characters feed need to be filled with this stuff?

Three, DMs. If we are adamant about being respectful to players on sim, and take our ooc to IMs then Please, respect doesn't change cause there's no mod to report you. Please do the same on Twitter.

Four, phones. Most of us are stuck on our smartphones on Twitter, so all the ooc stuff gets redundant to have to scroll down through just to find what a character is actually saying.

Fivee, ooc should be about JUST clearing up for everyone something said by your character to keep the rp moving smoothly.

And finally, six, if you absolutely must tell something to the collective then please type brackets first so I'm not tricked into reading it to find a bracket at then end.

Basically, use common sense on here. If you gotta share what you made for breakfast, slip it into character and say SHE made it. Please, I know our kids and babies are adorable, but for us 'badguys' seeing a cute baby face in the middle of my role  play about stalking and harming and worse of these 'mommies' literally makes me uncomfortable at best, and completely turned off at worst.

Also, I would ask those responding to avoid excuses and anger, as this is not posted by me in anger, this is a plea to the community of role players. I come to second life to get away from my problems, and I do apologize if this sounds heartless, but I don't need a collectives heartbreaking issues on top of everything. I am aware also, that some of you are thinking, fk you just leave Twitter then, but seriously ask yourself, if you are the one defending your ooc tweets, maybe you're the one that should be leaving a Twitter feed that's IC.

Also, I know most of you are on Skype anyways, so, Skype away all that ooc! If there's any bad typos this was brought to you from my phone.
