This is a question regarding a flaw. (or is it a flaw?) Usually an action takes place slower than RL in RP. One has to raise his baton in one post, wait for other players to post their replies. And when there are four or more players, it usually takes more than 15 minutes to raise a baton and hit it. But SL visual action mostly resembles the RL action speed. And if teleporters and the small distance within the sim are calculated, SL visual actions take place more faster than RL.
This 'change of speed,' the differing speed of RP and SL visual action sometimes (as i have observed in the RP) spoils the roleplay scene itself. Sometimes people start complaining how police come so fast into the scene leaving no time for the suspect to escape. Also happens in the gang attack when some member makes a call IC-ly.
I have seen matured players stand aside, waiting for RP to unfold further until they can barge in. But not all of them. Is there any rule to tackle this flaw?
