kuruptd residentsaidSo more and more frequently lately, I've been noticing something that is somewhat unnerving to me -- people are treating this like a private RP sim, instead of public. I've lost count of how many people in the past few months that have not approached me on sim simply because there was someone else near me and they didn't want to disturb. Completely understandable. I don't care, though. If my character is having his dick sucked on the side of the street, beating some bitch into the pavement, or even selling a damn toaster at the Pawn Shop..if anything, I'll welcome you butting into the scene. The more the merrier. I know that if this has been such a recurring issue with me, I can't be the only one going through the same thing. Now if the scene is already consisting of a large enough group that post order is taking an hour to go around, that may be a different story. It might be a truly prevalent scene that someone is trying to get done prior to having to get to sleep for work in the morning. But even then, you don't need to just wander away from it without a word. Just IM someone (typically the person who started the scene) and ask them if it would be okay to jump in. You can even do the same if you're just approaching someone standing by themselves. Don't be shy; we're all here for the same reason..to roleplay! Also on that note, if anyone has any stories they wanna get rolling with Shaun, just hit me up here or in-world. Just note I'm terrible at OOCly scheduling scenes. 😉 |
