BACKGROUND: Hope of Hathian is an animal rescue, shelter, and adoption center. It is a home for abandoned and needy animals with the intent to adopt them out to loving homes, or to find fosters for temporary situations. The main facility houses dogs, cats, some small critters and the occasional bird, and there is an (NPC) additional location just outside of town at the farm and junkyard that McKenzie lives on where they house larger rescues, such as horses, cattle, etc.

EXPERIENCE: This is something that McKenzie has done in her story going back years, rescuing stray animals and helping people find pets that fit their lifestyles so that both the animal and the person have happy futures. Since she has moved out of her home it makes sense she would convert it into an animal rescue center to further her cause.
