Master Bates Inn

BACKGROUND: As leader of the Inn the priority would be towards collaboration with established individuals and invitation for those newer to crack den. Since it's low cost temporary housing it's a great launching point for characters and individuals who are just starting out on the sim. And the private semi-isolated nature of the establishment means it can work as a nexus and a haven for individuals who don't necessarily have the most pure intentions. The Motel is a prime location for Drug Deals, Hookers, Assaults, Etc. Regular events for the Inn could be as simple as discount days, or as complex as seasonal events such as cookouts in the parking lot or raffling motel rooms for prizes in events that would involve collaborations with other businesses and groups in the area. I would help make new employees feel welcome with IC training whenever possible. Ideally there would be a hierarchy where those with managerial positions would give a short orientation to new hires to accquaint them with the business and how it is managed. My character has been working at the motel for some time now and would fit in as management due to her ability to make connections with others. The Motel is the perfect spot to use as cover for a multitude of illicit activities and Chasity is no stranger to any of them. Having partaken in murder, drug dealing and trafficking herself she'd have no problem in facilitating those interactions. For a price.

UNIQUE: The nature of the business helps it stand out, rather than focusing on providing food or something immediately purchasable the motel can be used as a temporary living quarters or purchasable privacy. As such the focus would be on enticing people to rent rooms and also to work as clerks or maids providing more interaction for those renting.

EXPERIENCE:I am dedicated and determined when I set my mind to a project. I managed The Slab Butcher shop for many years. I have also led other factions elsewhere in and out of Second Life and know how to delegate responsibilities when necessary.

IDEAS:I would figure out if they'd rather work as clerks or cleaning staff, or even maintenance crew. All things a motel needs to work. Help them find the role that is best suited to their interest. Additionally there would be opportunities for those who wished it to become involved with the darker side of the business.

OTHER:Given the time of year the grand re-opening event would likely be a fall themed event open house sort of affair. An announcement the inn was under new management as well as an invitation for folks to come check out the place, see the rooms, and participate in a raffle for discounts with the grand prize being a weeks free stay. And secondary prizes being things such as gift certificates to other local businesses if available.
