Hathian Motors

BACKGROUND: I would love to bring HM back to its roots, reintroducing it as a chop shop hidden under the guise of legitimacy. It was always fun to work with players who had licenses and the HPD to promote car theft RPs. But, of course, I also don’t want to alienate players who don’t have licenses. So I was also hoping to keep up with the street races and hiring out non-mechanic jobs, like the sabotaging of vehicles (npc or licensed) to bring in more business to the garage. Hathian Motors always used to be a shadier business, and that’s been seriously lacking for a few years now!

 

UNIQUE: What is most unique about Hathian Motors compared to other businesses, is it really is underused by players who don’t have licenses or basically in general. So it takes a lot to keep it active, as it’s not a place people think to hang out at on a Saturday night. This is why I’m hoping some of my ideas will bring in more RP to the area in general. Compared to the old building, the junkyard attachment has potential to promote some collab with other businesses or gangs to hold events there. Backstreet fights, outdoor raves and other seedier gatherings. Not all car related, but sure to draw in some crowds.

 

EXPERIENCE: I actually used to run Hathian Motors for a few years back when I started in CD. I had to give it up due to RL taking me away from SL for a bit, but I always wanted to have a chance to run it again. I have also been an active member of the community for over a decade now and have led a few groups that have generated RP for the sim. So while the type of business might be challenging, I think I can easily bring a lot of active RP to Hathian Motors.

 

IDEAS: I plan to come up with jobs and events that will cater to both the theme of the business and also those who might not have typical use for it. I can’t promise that most of it won’t be criminally based, but that just makes it work with the overall theme of CrackDen!

 

 

OTHER: For the reopening, I intend to have another race since a few people have been asking for another. But not everyone can race, so I would like to also do an outdoor rave afterward to appeal to those not a part of the actual race. It should be a blast.
