Chartbusters

TYPE: Movie Rentals

BACKGROUND: I would have Caisen promote both classic media and games by having different themed events such as “Friday the 13th” horror promotion on a month that has the 13th day on a Friday, dance parties with classic rock/punk/old style music. As including employees, I will reach out to the new employees and offer introductory role-play, so they can get to know me as a manager of the business. I’ll also have ‘Employee of the Month’ awards for people who show up and write stories at the shop more often or find ways to ICly attract customers. My character would follow up and make sure they’re doing their job ICly, willing to recognize the hard workers and hold accountable those that are slacking, all in an IC environment.

 

UNIQUE: I want to coordinate with other businesses that are relevant to classics, such as Comiquities and the Vudu Spice shop to sponsor their more antique-like items in events. I also want to promote old-fashioned games such as pool, mini bowling, darts, at these events. Also, Caisen will be selling drugs on the down low, calling them candy to go with their purchases.

 

EXPERIENCE: I’ve led CD businesses in the past on alt characters such as the Master Bates hotel and private businesses. I am great at being inclusive and engaging, especially with new people looking to start their story at Crack Den. I believe highly in keeping rp fun and drama-free.

 

IDEAS: As stated before, I plan on reaching out to new employees and offering them an introductory role-play. Caisen will also meet new people and see if they have an interest in classics and promote the business to work for or alongside with.

 

OTHER: I plan on having an event outdoors of the Chartbusters shop working with other businesses to promote related classic items. I will approach the business leads of Jimmy’s Chicken Shack, Rag Dollar, Comiquities, and Rader Records to see if they want to have a stall there. There’ll be music and dancing with a dance-off hosted (dice rolls played to see who wins each round) with prizes given out. Don’t forget the drinks!
