Freddys BBQ

BACKGROUND: This is Backwaters, the dumpster of Hathian and Freddys BBQ will be no different! Hungry? We'll feed ya. Got meat? We'll buy it off ya! Anyone can come to Freddys to earn a quick buck in exchange for questionable meat they may have fished from the ocean or caught whilst hunting. Add in a human body part or two?? Well, that might cost ya but no judgement from Freddys. We'll take all meats and make your troublesome corpses disappear for a fee. =BACKGROUND= Acacius used to run the Clam in Hathian, often using it as a front for shady undertakings including kidnappings. He eventually became a part of the Los Oscuros gang, but it was only a matter of time before he got caught and sent to rot in prison. After a few well placed bribes, and the murder of his overseer, he ended up in Laveau. There, he moved into a house near the BBQ joint and has since become rather familiar with the place. =IDEAS FOR EVENTS= -Sea food or see food Sundays. Are those crispy prawns or oversized cockroaches?? Everything tastes just as good with the right amount of seasoning. -Mystery meat Mondays -> Ya never know what is being served! -Grill master competitions -> Anyone who puts in a negative review is immediately entered to the competition to prove they can do better. If they do better, hey! Maybe they'll get themselves a job. =EMPLOYEES= To keep employees interested and engaged in working at Freddys, I would try to develop story arcs with the players, whether that involves them being coerced into working at Freddys or providing certain services which would hopefully engage the greater community too.

UNIQUE: With Kaidn running the BBQ Bros in Hathian, I'm hoping to make Freddys a part of that, tying the two businesses as a franchise. After all, Kaidn needs to get that rotting meat in the back of the freezer sold somehow, right? What better place than to send that meat to Freddys where it can be grilled and served to patrons with less well developed palates. Who says meat will be the only thing being shipped to Leaveau from the BBQ bros joint in Hathian?? The possibilities here are endless. Beyond the meat, I'm hoping to turn Freddy's into an information exchange hub; a place where shady souls gather for good food and idle gossip, and a place where deals succeed or fall apart.

EXPERIENCE:I've run the Clam in Hathian a few years back where I ran several events and a few simwides as well. Prior to that, I've held a variety of roles in different RP sims including running a faction, OOC security, event coordinator and RP instructor. I enjoy meeting and working with people and have held leadership positions over the years IRL too. I do my best to be fair when resolving issues and challenges by listening to people's opinions and varying perspectives then opening the floor to discussion.

IDEAS:In keeping with the seedier side of Backwaters, I would try and ICly coerce new players into working for the BBQ joint. This would depend upon the character's background and what could ICly be used against them. All employees will be met ICly and trained to meet Freddys very 'strict' standards but mainly to learn how to keep their lips sealed about anything they witness at the grill.
