Barracuda Bar

BACKGROUND: I would like to help encourage Laveau night life. The bar is close to other great businesses like the Serpent's Den, Flamingo's and Veiled Visions all of which who benefit from having a stream of night owls to engage in seedy and mystical activities. Hopefully with the addition of monthly events, and themed nights at the bar (Ladies Night, Fellas Night, LGBTQ+ Night, Pirate Nights, Karaoke Nights etc.) all of these businesses in the nightlight scene of Laveau can flourish together.

UNIQUE: I would make this business stand out if a few ways: - My goal is to encourage as much RP and staff interaction as possible. Employees would be engaged via the Group with IC Emails/Notices/Texts and this will encourage employees to be at the bar often and help them feel part of a team. - The bar is perfectly poised for illegal and sketchy shipments to come through it's docks, and deals and collaborations with local businesses to provide unsavory goods and shipments would be made. - I intend to be an active lead, as I am often on sim in Backwaters. - My character is Manager at two businesses in town (Lady Luck Casino and Empire Tattoo) and she is also IC Head Nurse at the Laveau clinic. My dedication to helping BW flourish is very much present. 😀

EXPERIENCE:I have had experience supporting and building up storylines in the past, with collaboration IC and OOC with other business owners to further storylines and create funs moments. Currently, I support multiple businesses in Laveau as manager and I also do my best to attend any BW events, and this is because I really enjoy helping craft a really good time for all.

IDEAS:I plan to engage new players by initiating walk-up rp with those that happen to wander by the bar. The great thing is that my character (Hell) is naturally business-minded and networky, so she would be very interested in finding good talent for her business. She also isn't shy so she definitely would be schmoozing newcomers, offering them a business card and a free drink to get to know them and get them in the bar spending money.

OTHER:A block party. Or rather, a /dock/ party. ;D (Think Gasparilla Pirate Festival held annually in Tampa Bay) Hell supported Empire Tattoo during the Laveau Block Party and would definitely want to keep those vibes going. She would partner with other businesses to sponsor booths at the event. This event would be ocean/pirate themed to capitalize on the bar's history and lore. Plus, who doesn't love a good ol' pirate jig? Arghhh, mateys!
