Alexandra MelunesaidPlease give your feedback and suggestions for this business proposal (in a constructive manner!) for this proposer to review, respond to, and take into account should they go forward as the Lead! For more information on how proposals work: http://thecrackden.com/discuss/topic/group-and-business-proposals/ Backwater Prison TYPE: SLURL: BACKGROUND: As a leader, I wish to create an atmosphere that will provide players an additional route for roleplaying. I will seek out players who will want to become prison guards and reach out towards the other sim police departments to recommend the prison as a place for players wishing a little long term confinement and the roleplay that is associated with it. I would ask of my employees to follow the example I shall set by making sure that the inmates are interacted with, integrated in storylines, while they are enjoying their stay in the prison. There are no real events to be had in prison, Sydney plans to be a bad warden using interested prisoners in her own dark schemes and will encourage her prison guards to make sure that life in prison is not too soft to encourage rehabilitation. On holidays, Sydney might try to brighten up the prison a little because those lowlifes are people, too, right? Sydney will be a very diligent warden and would seek to keep her guards very close to her so as to know mostly what is going on within her walls and to make sure they are all in the same book if not on the same page. The guards will be trained in basically handling of prisoners to keep everyone safe but their roleplay will be their own. UNIQUE: To make it stand out from other jails, Sydney will use the fact that it is not as public as a PD jail to enforce her will upon the prisoners. As it is made for long term use, privacy is a thing of the past, the convicts are there to be kept from the public making them no better than animals and does anyone care how animals are treated as long as there is no one around to watch? What might be viewed as criminally negligent in a police station where much of the public is invited into it, in a prison, there is no public to worry about, there is only isolation and despair, the knowledge that one can be at the mercy of their guards, their warden, or each other. What gang you are outside the walls mean nothing when you are alone within, perhaps you have to form a temporary prison gang to survive. As the lead, I would try to create a few temporary gangs in the prison for people to join, nothing that would exist beyond the walls of the prison but who knows what experiences you take when you are released, maybe form lifelong bonds with a prison gangbanger that leads to more in civilian life. On occasion, Sydney might institute gladiatorial games with a prize of release EVENTUALLY but the winner gets privileges like better food, cells, and conjugal visits. EXPERIENCE:Sydney is foremost a people person. She likes to interact with all sorts of people regardless of their background. There is not a single type of player that she would not want to squish beneath her imperial thumb as warden of the prison. Also, Sydney has varied interests and meshes well with different players. She has role played as a police officer and a doctor not restricting my role play to just one sim. IDEAS:Sydney will hold job fairs for new prison guards, advertise in the Observer, and engage new players as much as possible when she encounters them and encourage the staff to do so as well. It is my hope that by providing a rich role play environment the inmates will also spread the word. OTHER:Sydney will hold a press conference and public forum where she will assure the citizens that she may not clean up the streets of this fair city but she will keep the trash where it belongs. |
