A troubled young man who's turbulent past lead him down the road of crime and ended with a four year prison sentence for Arms trafficking.  Nate was taken under his uncle's wing after losing both of his parents at 10 years of age, at the time his uncle was a two-bit criminal who would later down the line stumble upon a serious operation and start earning some real money. Nate would have some semblance of a normal upbringing during his high school years, keeping himself busy with his studies and being supported by his uncle who would as Nathan turned 17 coerce him into working for his "business"

It started with the smaller stuff- helping his uncle load up crates into his SUV, occasionally getting to ride with his uncle to gun deals and being told to call in 5 minutes if things went bad, although the wool over his eyes would be kept for a while as to what truly went down every time he and his uncle would go work. The money after each of those jobs kept little Nate happy and blind for a while to what was really happening.

A few years went by and Nathan was fully entangled in the gunrunning business with his uncle, From a small kid who would help him load stuff and kept lookout to an actual partner in crime. Nate however, barely 20 at this point, would constantly try to prove himself to his uncle and was getting too big for his own good as the year went on, acting out a violent tough guy and pissing off the wrong people, tarnishing their credibility and almost ruining the whole operation at one point.

Nathan got set up by his uncle for being too much of a liability and wanted to make an example out of him while making himself up for the bad business of the past. On their last deal together, they moved out way too much merch and Nate was to be the fall guy with his uncle heading off with their buyer for a truly big opportunity. Things would not go to plan as both of them got crossed, most of the weapons stolen and they got shot and left for dead.

While his Uncle wouldn't live to see another day Nathan barely survived, was charged and got sent to prison where he would spend his next four years. A long time to rethink his life and what to do once he was out. He kept his head down while in the can and worked both his mind and body, smuggling books of all things and even got spiritual and found god of sorts while he was in there.

At almost 25 he would be let go and wouldn't stick around for too long, using whatever little was left of his connections in the free world to grab himself a beat up pickup truck and skip town, Opting out for the nomad life and using his skills and newly found adaptability to earn and keep himself trucking along from one place to another, and very recently, Hathian caught his eye.

Looking to try and settle down somewhere after almost a year and some change on the road, he'd opt out to come here and attempt to plant his roots, Growing a small hope of his life settling down somewhat and him finding a new place to belong.
