juanlouis aldersaidWe had a wee discussion in OOC chat about the idea of a lawless district in CD. Similar to the 'Narrows' in Gotham City. The idea being police and fire couldn't go in there because of 'political pressure' rather than being just too scared. People can rape, beat, torture without fear of any reprisals or 'scene hijacking' on the basis of realism. Also when police won't have to get the ((you can't interfere with our scene)) then have to walk by as if they didn't see it when it might not be in their character as a cop to do that. Off duty police could also go there with a what happens in 'lawless' stays in lawless type arrangement from everyone. So also victims can go to the police IC but have their complaint deflected or buried until they 'get the idea' Lots of folks thought it was a good idea at the time so were discussion and consideration I think. I don't know the new set up of buildings etc that well so couldn't recommend an area. All I know is it wouldn't need to be that big or pretty. Maybe with some sort of water, patch of sea or lake/sewer for body disposal 😉 |
