"How can I become a Reject" is a hard question. "Am I a Reject?" Is an even harder one even if you are an affiliate. Even if you just got a band.

In short, No, you aren't.

Rejects don't come pre-made. We are born through many RL months (sometimes years) of deep immersive RP. To be a prospect it takes a lot of patience. It takes a character and player that can bend and go with the flow. You're broken, you're twisted by us and those that hate us. You barely win, but when you do it eclipses all those paltry losses.

If you are already comfortable being crazy or you’re the toughest person in the city - then your character likely doesn't need a band. it doesn't need the Rejects. The Rejects are born of need. They don't always like each other, but they need each other. They need what the band represents.

Do we actively recruit? No. Why not? Especially, when we are small and at times seem to be dying out? Because quality and the essence of the Rejects is much more important to us than numbers. Quality, for us, is made up of both your IC exchanges and OOC exchanges. We don't condone pettiness or judgmental personalities. We want fun for ourselves and to provide fun for others. So, we roleplay and those who have characters that fit in and mesh well and feel like they -need- the band to feel whole, those are the people who end up staying around. They have a chance to be taken in by an ICly feisty gang of bitches and assholes.

Unlike our characters, we don't bite OOC, at least not unless you ask, and we aren't a clique. We just play true to our characters and make sure our members uphold sim values and create stories with the community not just among ourselves.

So are you a Reject? No, but you can be. And if you find you don't want the extra baggage that comes with our band, the Reject usually protect their allies just the same.
