Okay, I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right part of the forum, but it's too late now!
As a gang leader, I'd like to address a concern that's been bothering me ever since I've made a come-back to the Crack Den.
Preferably, the Bloods vs. Reject history.
Ever since I've came back and jump-started Bloods, it seems that the Rejects barely know anything about their past! Now, when I say this, I literally mean it! It's as if none of them knew who Tusk or Will were-- both, may I say, were huge successors of the Rejects.
Not knowing who Christian or myself were was one thing, but to not know sufficient history of their own gang?
Now I'm not calling anyone out. I just generally don't see any tradition going on with anyone, let along gangs. I would just assume that, if you get recruited into a gang in the den, you'd hear talk about what they've gone through and how they got to where they were today; sharing war stories with one-another and the like.
Nien.
I'm currently having trouble getting my Bloods up-to-date with past Reject affiliation, mainly since some are new to the scene. That's probably why Rejects didn't know much either, rather than it just being a lack of tradition.
Either way, it's kinda annoying!
In any case, I just thought that it'd be cool to mention some memorable names of the Den in roleplay and keep some traditions alive.
Like in my position. As leader of the Bloods, I consistantly mention Christian and how much of an importance he was to my development throughout it all. I reference Kylarai and Chase from time-to-time as well, and-- well, basically memorable notes of the very beginning.
Y'know, back when I was a cool lookin' noob.
I'd like to hear what you (gang members specifically) feel about this. I'm sorry if I've offended anyone, as that's not what I intended to do. But yeah...
Just a thought.
