Hathian and the rest of the Crack Den is fictional, but based off of a very real town on the outskirts of New Orleans. That place is Hopedale, and from it we’ve mined data to use around the SIMs; from weather patterns to the current radio station and even the rebuild. Below is the 2,000 census data of Hopedale, which loosely applies to Hathian and its surrounding areas.

**The number of registered avatars under the Crack Den Roleplay group (4,000 as of 02/22/11) is over half the population of Hopedale. Hathian/Hopedale is considered to be a town, as it has under 10,000 residents.

***If considered a city, Hathian/Hopedale claims the number one spot, (beating Detroit, Michigan) of poorest American city according to 2007 U.S. Census Bureau data.

Hathian/Hopedale is a town incorporated into the municipality of New Orleans.

Lake Borgne is visible off of Northshore Rd.

The body of water surrounding Fishtown and touching upon the south ends of Black Bottom, Devils Pocket, and Vodou might be the Mississippi River. Water wraping around District 8 could be an extension of the Mississippi into Lake Borgne.
