Dear community, dear Staff,

I will not use names nor mean to point fingers at anyone. I play one of the Hopper family, so we have much IC strife.

In the past, the rule was, "gun use has to be last resort", that was certainly not perfect, but it worked far better as it does now!

I know, now people should use guns in a responsible way, sorry, that might be meant good, but totally backfires.

I and we had many and I mean many scenes, were people pull a gun not as last but first option, not even considering other options.

Guns are now pulled to win scenes, to dictate the outcomes of scenes over people who are not armed.

Guns are now used on unarmed people, empty handed people.

You wonder why there is no report? If a rule bends like chewing gun, "act responsible", nobody reports as there is no crime really, no offense of a rule.

I had so many scenes were people use guns to win that I snapped at a player who did the same, though that one not meaning bad but simply did not know better. But how? How can the player know better if a rule is just suggesting? As it is now, people either not know, or bullies try to get their way via gun on unarmed people.

So what do you all want, players and staff, do we want guns to be the way to get your way, first option, peng peng, or do we want guns to be an exciting exception?

@staff, whatever it is, please make it clear, so we all understand and are on the same page. thanks
