GROUP NAME: The Ling-Chi

BACKSTORY: The Ling-Chi or "Ling-Chi" is a Chinese driven gang revolving East Asian elements. The Ling Chi also translated as the slow process, the lingering death, or death by a thousand cuts which is an old technique and signature murder of cutting someone slowly open into pieces. The Ling-Chi gang is part of many branches of Chinese criminal organizations based in Hong Kong, Vietnam, Macau, Taiwan, China, Korea, Japan and also in countries with significant Chinese populations, such as Malaysia, Singapore, the United States, Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom. The Ling-Chi in Hathian would come into as more of a illegal enterprise subject to copyright infringement, stealing, counterfeiting currency, racketeering, Extortion and human trafficking. Although the gang is based off it's members being Chinese, The Ling-Chi willfully accepts most east asian nationalities into it's syndicate such as Japanese and Koreans. The agenda of The Ling-Chi is simple as it is clear. Establish influence across Hathian with involving influencing business to export money overseas. The Ling-Chi would be a unorganized "organized." gang. The Ling-Chi can be considered like a flock of birds flying. Birds come and go but the direction is still the same. One thing is for certain, the direction is more important than the individual. The Ling-Chi has little patience with accepting membership to anyone that isn't of Chinese or any asian decent. Gang clothing is not limited at all but tags would be tattoos. (Which is still under work to exactly what they would be). The Ling-Chi's structure is very organized in it's own way in the underground with strange rituals that deal back to ancient times. What obscene rituals in hidden places might yet be practiced within The Ling-Chi

UNIQUE: I believe the this type of gang would appeal to the Asian community aspect of The Crack Den as to it doesn't appeal to a certain nationality as it does to more of an entire race within Asia. I also would think it would be interesting to have ourselves introduce a East Asian crime machine because it doesn't limit the person who would be interested to join as long as if they wish to roleplay themselves as racially asian. Not only that I think it would also bring a very more interesting and diverse atmosphere.

EXP:Well, I'v been in The Crack Den for about a year now and I'm a very approachable person. I'v been in the Hathian Police Department and I usually have a high tolerance for anything and I'm very open with criticism.

IDEAS:I would bring new ideas and events as they come and go. Our group would roleplay with Police and get itself involved ICly with just about every single aspect of daily Hathian life to make it's existence known. OOCly it would offer fun and rewarding RP fun.

OTHER:Well, as far as I previously stated above, this is about it for the moment. It's just a fresh idea which can adapt.
