GROUP NAME: Lower 9th Rejects

MEMBERS: Esperanza Hernandoz, Caris Winslet, Zoran Avro, Jin Sunflower

BACKSTORY: Our new name will be the Lower 9th Rejects, commonly referred to as L9R (or el-niner), our story during the interim was that we escaped/suffered through prison and ran to New Orleans where some members had previous connections. During our time in New Orleans we met up with some other local gangbangers of the 9th Ward, joining them in a sort of loose alliance/assimilation until we came back to Hathian with altered views of how things should be. Once here we maintained our ties, running drugs back and forth and using them for contacts for all kinds of illegal activities. We do not have bands or other visible colors/identifiers, though members can have tattoos if they so choose, but they might be hidden to the casual observer. We might wear masks (rabbit masks that look similar to the symbol) when performing our more nefarious activities, but we like the thought of no one knowing who *might* be a L9R as we grow other than what may be obvious (Such as some former Rejects and/or eventually L9R vets). Another change is a step back from the previous reputation of complete disregard of the HPD and open public attacks since our storylines under the new leaders have instilled a healthy wariness of the law. UNIQUE: We're Hathian's resident boogeymen, oh and we sell drugs too harder than ever. We will add meth to the coke that had been always the gang's staple which is RPed being cooked. We're loosely made up of the dregs of society, the outcasts and the rebels. We focus on making money yes, but not to the extent that we will bend to anyone else's will and not to the extent that we don't make nonsensical mistakes. Instead we prefer to cultivate fear and an aura of ruthlessness that makes people avoid walking down the street alone at night. OOCly our goals are to basically stir up plots and introduce elements of the unforseen and to keep things fun and intersting for all. We like to see ourselves as true miscreants and one of the few things citizens and other criminals can agree to hate. We also had the opportunity to break down and recreate a brainwashed victim in the very image of what they hope is seen as a terrifying new breed (L9R).

EXP: Im dedicated, i sign on every damn day lol. I consider myself fairly decent at RP and decently fair at not metagaming, powergaming, or even stirring up trouble of the OOC variety. In fact despite the shitstorms around me I feel I've done pretty good at maintaining a clear course of action. I also have been told I'm good at introducing new RPs that include a wide scope of people and help jumpstart others RP, which works because that is my favorite thing to do.

IDEAS: I had an idea that newcomers should be welcomed with the simple option to choose a business (even if it is a small one) to work at, which gives them purpose and a niche ICly to start from when they enter CD completely on thier own. I'm constantly trying to find ways to dispel the clique and get new fresh ideas/faces into RP.

OTHER: I think our group works here because we're not afraid to be hated. It takes a lot of energy and self-love to constantly be the bad guy. It also takes some creativity, to justify evil deeds without being just completely insane. Which I am not and never will be. IC or OOCly.
