BACKGROUND: overview faction background: HISTORY: The Black Mamba group was forged 2014 and started as a union of business owners closing sides to reduce crime on the police abandoned RLD of DE. That being successful the group soon did not fight crime but become crime itself and through many struggles darkened to become a cartel. Though BM always was a group with a focus on business, not random mayhem, any action should have a purpose to increase income or power and not just blow something up because it is funny. The main business focus in the past was (s)exploitation, now being in CD that has slightly changed as the group took over the labor Union. The LU of course offers perfectly legal services to unionize workers as well as repairing stuff - but of course this extends into a shady alley. BUSINESS FRONT AND CRIMINAL ACTIVITY: So what does BM do? -doing (partly staged) business inspections to gain bribes and favors -trying to get strippers, hookers, damsels into the Sex Workers Union to look out for them for a cut - what is nothing else then a different angle on pimping them -offer LU discount treaties to businesses, those are basically a business pays a cut for us to look out for them, offer discount on repairs and such - and this is of course protection money if one sums it up -people not willing to be unionized may of course ((if OOC consenting)) find some trouble, same goes for the places not willing to be part of this = so pimping and protection money is the way to make money. BM will not dabble in drugs (safe for party purposes), neither deal them nor import them, nor trading in weapons and such. Perhaps we might add smuggling of liquor later if it promises fun roleplay. RANKS: first of all we also plan a membership cut to provide quality over quantity: We use three ranks, recruit, member and elder, most important is the recruit stage (not yet being part of the group) as it allows us to monitor a persons activity over some weeks, we want steady players after all, as well the roleplay as a recruit of course will get tasks. In the past that allowed us to sort out powergamers and troublemakers so as far as I am aware the faction had a good reputation in DE and AP where we played before. Adding to the listed members there are adding gadinata and Zim Bartavelle.

UNIQUE: that should be covered above

FLAW: FLAW: pretty easy, the group runs old fashioned, meaning they have a code of honor, so they might feel urged to do something that is not quite smart but requested by their honor. Also all females of the core team are quite stubborn and tempered, not always thinking of consequences of their actions.

POTENTIAL ENEMY: INVOLVED IN OUR STORY: Due to the Labor Union as front we can interact with ANY business and do not want to exclude anyone. Also anyone we did not meet but would like interaction, please shoot us an IM and we will happily visit. ENEMIES: we do not plan on long term feuds as those are IC not good for business. But while BM members are on good terms with the MC there will be struggle as both groups dabble in protection money, such things might ignite some fire and then get resolved in Xelan´s Ring events. But any business connected to a gang and being visited by the LU mambas might lead to trouble, same for the PD of course.

EXPERIENCE:QUALLITIES/EXPERIENCE I have started as business lead in DE 2014 taking over the massage parlor, the players helping me we awesome and we managed to get life back in the RLD that had been quite calm back then. Over the time I helped in several businesses, mainly Rhoslyn´s stripper bars. When we moved to AP I was lead of the Red Room, a bdsm club. Black Mamba was a stage 3 faction in DE, in AP we were the first faction ever officially approved but there were no faction stages. In DE I helped the community as Mod and Mentor, in AP as admin, so I am used to look at issues or problems from different angles and try to promote a friendly and constructive atmosphere.

IDEAS: ENGAGE new players: we are desperately hiring workers, handymen, secretaries, so any new player crossing our path may find a LU business card in their hands, any chick with a really short skirt a sheat of the Sex Workers Union.
