sabrina morningstarsaidPROPOSAL BY: biawkstar Resident GROUP NAME: CU Basketball Team BACKGROUND: A consistent athletic opportunity for roleplay and a great excuse for more social events and activities. Also, an alive and thriving sports team, with a community of like-minded individuals that have similar goals for the program. This would broaden the options of clubs and organizations for students at CU. UNIQUE: The sudden activity of CU's Basketball team will promote more scene and roleplay windows of opportunity for longer-terms of rp. In addition, to that there will be more roles on the team other than players and coaches. EXP:No experience running any other groups or business but im a team-player, willing to learn and take everyone else's thoughts and ideas into consideration. I also plan on reaching out to other leaders and actively using discord to ensure things run over smoothly. FLAWS: WORK WITH OTHERS:Cheerleaders, CU clinic, and the Observer IDEAS:There are plenty of idea and events I plan to incorporate into the basketball team that promotes more rp for both new and existing members. Events would consist of tryouts, practices, and games of course, but new things to be considered would be pep rallies, homecomings, and drug tests to make sure no players are enhancing their abilities (this is where members of the CU clinic would come in). Also around playoff time, would be an idea the whole campus could incorporate into their rp (maybe posters around campus or businesses could include deals for that seasonal period). Another event idea could be afterparties after the team wins a big game. There are more ideas for more roles within the team besides coaches and players. One of those being the waterboy(or girl). The waterboy is expected to come to practices and games, load balls on the ball rack and serve cold water in squirt bottles. Another role on the team would be the athletic trainer, who is expected at practices and games also, helping players prevent, diagnose, treat, and heal muscle and bone injuries (expeceted to have experience in the medical field). Then lastly, we'd have a scout. The scout would be expected to search the campus and all of the crackden, offering scholarships to potential basketball stars (working actively with Coach Kane). |
