Hello my lovelies. I am kind of nervous (maybe cause of backlash!?! DON'T HATE!) But I have been bothered about something for a while that starts to slowly eat my senses away. It's about the “criminal records” and occupations permits with said criminal records.

Here are the few main questions that keeps popping up due to either OOC realizations, or IC experience in which occupations gets nonsensical, abused or it starts to make less and less sense:

―　Anyone can apply to HGH so easily without background check while most likely being responsible for putting half of your own patience you treat in hospital without a problem. I find it ironic for HGH to be the only place not to be restricted while supposedly 'highly guarded with strict rules and security' and safe-place for victims/children – in which around 2012 violence in HGH was banned. I find it hard to RP in HGH, or make sense as to why my character would even be present in HGH to /visit/ someone, when most likely gang members are staff members or crooks that raped/victimized them are right there. (Even if they are offline, intellectually you know they are working in that place) and next thing one knows; you land in HGH due to being tortured/kidnapped/whatever, and the perpetrator is presence, or heck, put their 'professional work mask on and 'care' for their 'patient' to treat them— I honestly get annoyed by the thought of it because one has to force-change their characters due to 'no violence' rules in HGH, and it's too unrealistic to make it what seems like 'a safe place' or even sense. My character personally got threatened a dozen times by HGH psych ward/therapists/interns/doctors and even abuse the license by alleging hurt to happen within the grounds of HGH... even upon report it was accused as lies, but realistically, nobody would take such lightly and would look into the background of the alleged licensed therapist/doctors and see what their rep-sheet says. Not only is the threats not able to be Rped out due to OOC rules, but to even put it in RP perspective, it makes HGH a licensed-form of HPD with a form of control, except with human health. On top of that, HPD and HGH/EMT/Municipal/firefighters have agreement not to fight each other/be enemies/attack each other (Maybe not the correct wording, but those in the facilities know what I talk of) yet it's mixed between gangs/criminals/cops.... I find it highly unusual for a place that is a hospital and pressed to be the 'most secure with NPC guards' to actually be the least safest place of all due to being the only facility without care of criminal record. Why would any hospital even allow somebody with a criminal history/record or even worse, active gang member with/without gang tattoo/sign to work in that field, especially when OOC it got restricted against violence? I think if the rule of violence would've change, it'd make the place more what it stands for, if not, I don't know why people are so stuck-up and so paranoid about 'keeping violence out of HGH' and accepting of gangs/criminals to work hand in hand with EMT/hospital/etc. While many may argue this is not RL and 'everyone can be what they wanna', look at what we are NOT allowed to sign up for when we DO have a criminal records. (Now I am going to exclude the gangs because personally I find a gang member to not even be accessible to any facility if they even decide to be active members/gang leaders, but that is my personal opinion). And I am sorry if I cannot explain well:

Why is it allowed to be a doctor and have a criminal record
but you cannot be a cop
or even on Hathian's City Council, if you have a criminal record
Especially not if you are gang member/former gang member but HGH is off-limit while that's even child-friendly place that started the no-violence rules?
Why is there no restriction in it yet people do abuse IC the license, yet no consequences like in HPD and any other places upon slipping,
and the fact that HPD and HGH in a way have to work hand in hand (if not, the EMT due to 911 calls)
Which brings me to municipal group that has the radio keyed and gang members/criminals able to follow their enemies and cops moves from those signs on radio
Yet no action is made from nowhere??

Please help, I'm lost!
