Ginny is a bit slow, but not naive, having witnessed some of the nastier ways the world works. During her senior year of high school, her conservative Korean parents sent her to a conversion camp after catching her in a compromising position with her "close friend." Weirdly enough, 6 months of being literally hit with a Bible did not cleanse her of queerness.</p>

Given that she's still dealing with the traumatic fallout from the camp (the old fashioned way, with booze!), her parents have disowned her, and she's broke as hell, it's likely she'll go the way of a lot of people in Hathian. In the mean time, she's started a job as a barback at Murphy's.</p>
